Tip # 19: Accent the
positive.
Replace the following negative
words with positive ones.
- If you fail to make a payment
within the next two weeks for the purchase made on January 3,
your credit with us will be in danger.
- This is the third and final
request that we will make for your list. Your department’s
needs will not be reported if you fail to submit the required
data.
- Unfortunately, we refuse to
give customers a definite quotation until they let us know the
end use of their system.
- The material you ordered can’t
be shipped until July 2.
- We can’t give you a decision
on your claim until you have completed the S-4567 form.
E-mail your changes, and I will send
you my version.
