Tip #350: The meanings of words in the English language are expressed by combining the word root with significant affixes (elements added to the beginning or a word (prefix) and elements added to the ending or the word (suffix). By learning how an English word is made will help improve your vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking skills. |
