- Identify
and limit your audience.
- Think
like your reader and ask yourself: "What are we
trying to do for our customers?"
- Save
elaborate explanations about a product or service for
after the sale.
- Use
concrete, specific words instead of vague ones.
- Avoid
untruths, exaggerations, false comparisons, and
unsupported generalizations.
